Joe Tamassy
I was born in Preston UK in 1957, took up art on the side whilst running a successful cab business in the City of Lancaster. Over twenty years I've developed into one of the area’s most popular artists with my reflection scenes, taking on commission work for the likes of Morecambe Football Club, The Bay Radio as well as galleries, collectors locally and throughout the world.
Following the owner’s retirement at Town House Gallery, after a successful 20 years as a landscape artist, I have added a philosophy art section, and all my work is now exclusively available from me at
JoeTamassy.com via an online gallery, Pixels.com.
My approach as a landscape artist has matured since the early days, into the current iconic style you see today. Sepia reflection scenes of cities and towns across the country, incorporating reflections into puddles, rivers, and seas. I've worked hard to keep my pictures fresh and have just released a wide range of mugs, coasters, and lifestyle products on Pixels.com.
This has given me time and the opportunity to create contemporary Abstract Art Seas Skies and Female Form artwork as
